FlowSim BC® – Gravity Flow Simulation for Block and Panel Caving

FlowSim BC® is an advanced mine planning software developed to model gravity flow behaviour in Block and Panel Caving operations. The model integrates the principal physical mechanisms of caving, enabling analysis of the interaction between orebody geometry, extraction sequencing, and ore evolution throughout the production process.

Its numerical framework allows multiple planning scenarios to be evaluated prior to field implementation, providing a quantitative basis for the design and optimisation of production plans.

FlowSim BC® can be integrated with complementary tools such as BCRisk® to incorporate risk analysis within the mine planning process.
