BCRisk® – Predictive Risk Modelling and Analysis for Block and Panel Caving

BCRisk® is an advanced predictive analysis tool developed to quantify and anticipate critical geotechnical risks in Block and Panel Caving operations. The software integrates numerical modelling, historical data analysis, and Big Data and Machine Learning techniques to assess conditions that may lead to events such as fines inflows, water or mud ingress, and instabilities associated with the extraction process.

Through systematic simulation and evaluation of extraction indicators, BCRisk® enables risk analysis to be embedded within the mine planning process, strengthening operational safety and draw control.

The model can operate in full integration with tools such as FlowSim BC® and FlowSim SLC®, allowing planning, flow simulation and risk management to be addressed within a coordinated technological framework.
