Newcrest, Cadia East (2017)
PC1 and PC2 were simulated to evaluate mining extraction and recovery.
The ore grade extracted was predicted with less than 6% error for Au and less than 4% for Cu.
Calibration was based on the markers extracted in far and near field tests, obtaining good correlation in terms of horizontal displacements.
BCRisk projects
Newcrest, Wafi Golpu (2018)
Using BCRisk-WME, an analysis was performed to determine the risk of wet muck entry (WME) and the areas most prone to this problem. The analysis also predicted wet-muck behavior over time based on the mine’s long-term plan and particular conditions.

Models were constructed to determine the risk of SRF events using BCRisk-SRF and hang up frequency (BCRisk-HUF) based on the long-term plan of PC1 and PC2 along with the particular conditions of the project.

Esmeralda mine back-analysis was carried out to prepare a mathematical model to evaluate the extended long-term plan and determine the reserves and recovery.
Codelco, Diamante (2018)
BCRisk model was built with data from the Esmeralda Mine, which was then used in the Diamante Project. Mine reserves were defined and recommendations made based on the risk of wet muck entry generated by the different extraction strategies.
